  • Don’t wait for your baby to reach the very hungry stage before feeding. You should know the baby’s needs and hence, they should be timely fed otherwise it will lead to more air gulping. 
  • Feeding should be accompanied by constant burping sessions.
  • Once the feeding session completes, you should ensure keeping the baby in an upright position for 20 minutes.
  • Overfeeding should be avoided. Instead, when you breastfeed your child, you should do it with your milk and not try to switch your baby to having milk from a bottle. Cow milk should be avoided for some months.
  • Pacifier use is recommended.
