Mainly his contributions to India’s space and their missile programs, especially for the Agni and Prithvi missiles, were so significant and created a significant role for all of the generations. Children love and respect him not only for his innovations but also for his generosity, and support of young brains.

Scientific Fact:Dr. Kalam loves children and believes that kids are India’s future scientists and we should encourage all of them to have big dreams and help them to achieve.

2. C.V. Raman – The Light Scientist

C.V. Raman was a great physicist who discovered the behaviour of light and it travels through various materials. He was also awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics,1930 for this discovery, which is also known as the “Raman Effect.” He was one of the first Asians to win a Nobel Prize in science.

3. Homi Bhabha – Father of India’s Nuclear Program

Homi Jehangir Bhabha was the founder of India’s nuclear science. He helped India to become self-sufficient for the production of energy and was in charge of developing the country’s first nuclear power plants. The Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR) was also founded by Homi Jehangir Bhabha.

Science Fact for children: he supported the peaceful use of atomic energy for multiple needful things like electricity and medical research.

4. Jagadish Chandra Bose – The Plant Whisperer

Apart from being a scientist, J.C. Bose was also a great botanist, biologist, and physicist. He shows us that plants are sentient beings that react to touch and different emotions. He also even created the Crescograph (a tool for measuring plant growth).

Amazing Fact: Even before Marconi’s periods J.C. Bose was one of the first to show wireless communication to the whole world!

5. Srinivasa Ramanujan – The Magical Mathematician

Ramanujan made some significant changes in algebra and basic number theory. Even the world’s greatest mathematicians were amazed by his concepts and theorems still despite his lack of formal training towards it.

Kid-Friendly Fact:Nowadays, a lot of Ramanujan’s formulas are still applied to comprehend challenging computer and space issues.

6. Vikram Sarabhai – The Father of the Indian Space Program

Do you know who founded ISRO? Dr. Vikram Sarabhai was there. He believed that India could make great significant strides in space research. As a result of his efforts, India launched Aryabhata, its first satellite, in 1975.

Note: He tells us that we don’t need to copy the world—we can lead the whole world.

7.
